New Accessory Structures $50.00

Residential Standard$20.00

Residential New Construction/Addition $100.00

Commercial Standard  $40.00

Floodplain Permit $200.00

Rezoning $400.00 plus attorney fees

Conditional Use $400.00 plus attorney fees

After-the-fact (in addition to double fee)  $100.00

 

Standard Permit – includes work that does not increase the square footage of any structure to include but not limited to roofing, window, doors,  and siding replacement and repair.

 

Addition – includes any and all work that will increase the square footage of any structure to include but not limited to the construction of porches, carports, home additions, accessory structure additions, garage additions etc.

 

 

INFORMATION NEEDED TO APPLY FOR A LAND USE PERMIT

1. NAME OF PROPERTY OWNER AND ADDRESS AND LEGAL DESCRIPTION

2. PURPOSE OF THE PERMIT

3. KIND OF CONSTRUCTION

4. COST OF THE PROJECT OR ESTIMATED COST IF ACTUAL FIGURES ARE NOT AVAILABLE

5. SITE PLANS TO INCLUDE DIMENSIONS OF THE PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION AND EXISTING STRUCTURES AS TO WIDTH AND LENGTH. ALSO INCLUDE HEIGHT, NUMBER OF STORIES AND SQUARE FOOTAGE OF THE IMPROVEMENT. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT THE DISTANCE FROM THE FRONT, SIDE AND REAR LOT LINES OF EXISTING STRUCTURE AND PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION ARE SHOWN.

6. PERMIT MUST BE SIGNED BY THE PROPERTY OWNER OR BY THE CONTRACTOR ON BEHALF OF THE PROPERTY OWNER.
